NASA's STEREO spacecraft are launching shortly. This series follows the spacecraft as they ready for launch later on this year.

We all know that NASA is involved with Space Shuttle launches, Rockets and is an inspiration for TV Programs, but what else does NASA Actually do.

In our upcoming broadcasts, we are going to take a look behind the doors of NASA and find out more about the current ?Solar Terrestrial Probe Mission,? called STEREO, counting down to launch later this year. We will meet the Scientists, talk to the Engineers, learn how to calculate the orbit of a Satellite and meet the Mechanics who actually tighten the bolts on the spacecraft. We will look at what really happens in the final months to a launch, and why, two Satellites looking at the Sun, are so important to You.
