Santa Clara University's California Legacy Project and KAZU FM in Pacific Grove, 90.3 FM bring you "Your California Legacy," a radio anthology of compact but compelling dramatic readings of great California writing.

Your California Legacy segments offer an attractive fit for local independent booksellers, museums, or historical associations looking to publicize events or underwrite strong "local" content.

Each week features five original segments, each of which runs for 90 seconds and includes a brief intro, an original dramatic reading taken from California literature and history, and a short outro with lockout. Each segment is fully self-contained and can be used between programs or dropped into existing programs. For example, segments might be used for the optional cutaway for Weekend Edition Sunday, for Segment C, Newscast III, or Newscast V of Morning Edition. For convenience, segments are grouped in weekly "pieces," but individual segments and weekly pieces may be aired in any order.

We have produced 80 weeks of Your California Legacy, 400 original segments.

Segments are recorded at KAZU and produced by Santa Clara University's California Legacy Project, which also co-publishes books and sponsors public events.
