Urban Warriors is a program that pairs youth and veterans in trauma-informed, mentorship-based relationships. The program helps to promote self-empathy, understanding of traumatic experiences and positive coping skills, and to empower participants to take positive action within their communities. We have recorded many participants’ stories, highlighting their experiences with violence, journeys of self reflection and healing, and perspectives on Urban Warriors.
