Award-winning music documentarian Paul Ingles hosts this week's mix of tunes from his eclectic personal collection. It's a show where deep tracks and the 'artful seque" still matter. And virtually NO REPEATS until we run through the 10,000 good songs! This time sets of songs featuring a band in cut 1, then an artist going solo FROM that band in cut two. For example, a pair with Toad the Wet Sprocket, followed by a solo track by Glenn Phillips from that band. Another pair features Drive By Truckers first, then Jason Isbell from that band off one of his solo albums. 16 Days 3:55 Whiskeytown Strangers Almanac Please Don't Hurry Your Heart 5:10 Caitlin Cary While You Weren't Looking New York, New York 3:47 Ryan Adams Gold King of All the World 2:52 Old 97's Satellite Rides Singular Girl 3:44 Rhett Miller The Believer Stupid 2:41 Toad the Wet Sprocket Dulcinea Duck And Cover 3:20 Glen Phillips Winter Pays For Summer I Am Waiting 4:13 Ollabelle Ollabelle Good News 3:41 Amy Helm Didn't It Rain Can't You Hear Me Callin' 3:38 Crooked Still Shaken By A Low Sound Red & White & Blue & Gold 3:21 Aoife O'Donovan Fossils Dust To Dust 3:50 The Civil Wars The Civil Wars The Good Old Days 3:48 John Paul White The Hurting Kind Goddamn Lonely Love 4:59 Drive-By Truckers The Dirty South Speed Trap Town 4:02 Jason Isbell Something More Than Free

The Parish News is a weekly experimental radio show & podcast that is aired internationally. Hosted by Andy Backhouse, the show plays avant-garde and unusual music, field recordings and noise.
We trawl the underbelly of the art world to bring you sounds you have not heard before. Working closely with the bigger names in Art PR, we select the music that is the most fitting with current global trends and artistic direction. While the presenting style is Guerrilla and ambivalently irrelevant, the music is always spot on.
