On Thanksgiving night, November 25, 1976, The Band held a "farewell to the road" concert called "The Last Waltz."  Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Hawkins, Ronnie Wood, Ringo Starr were among the performers who came to honor and play with one of the most beloved bands in rock and roll.  Robbie Robertson describes in detail how it evolved from a concert to an event, how he convinced Martin Scorcese to film it and how he never expected it would become what it is today.  Over an hour long you'll hear some musical highlights from the concert, along with interviews with Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Garth Hudson, as well as the late Levon Helm and Rick Danko.  A holiday treat for your listener.

Eric Clapton created the Crossroads Healing Center for Alcohol & Drug Dependency on the island of Antigua in 1998.  Eric tells his story in which he almost lost his own life abusing alcohol and drugs, how he came to be sober and why he decided to create the 1st class non-profit Crossroads Center. In order to keep prices low so that 1/2 of the beds at the center go to the people of the Carribean who do not have the money it takes for professional help in overcoming their addiction, Eric raised money by holding three Crossroads Guitar Festivals: 2004 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, 2007 and 2010 just outside of Chicago in Bridgeview, Illinois, and 2013 at NY’s Madison Square Garden. The artists who have played through the years include B.B. King, Carlos Santana, Jeff Beck, Joe Walsh, Steve Winwood, ZZ Top, Sheryl Crow, James Taylor, John Mayer, Jimmy Vaughn, JJ Cale, Gary Clark Jr., Vince Gill and a who's who of the guitar personally selected by Eric Clapton.  On July 1 2016, Rhino Records, released a 3-cd compilation of some blistering performances from the 4 festivals.  This hour long show gets you backstage through the words of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Billy Gibbons, Carlos Santana, Joe Walsh, Steve Winwood and Vince Gill.

Jeff Lynne, founding member of the Electric Light Orchestra and producer for Geroge Harrison, Tom Petty, the Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr has just released a new ELO album, "Alone in the Universe." This show features music from the new album, classic ELO, a Tom Petty song, a Traveling Wilburys song, and a Beatles song. There is interview from Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Tom Petty as well.

Roger Waters, founder, writer, bassist and vocalist of Pink Floyd has taken his seminal work "The Wall" on tour for the past three years, adding in a piece that had been left out of the original performances and album.  He did 219 shows on 4 continents in front of four-and-a-half million people.  On November 13, 2015, he issues the soundtrack of that tour.  "Roger Waters: The Wall: All Access" is music from the tour and Roger describing the new meanings he finds in the songs that have evolved over the 35 years since the album was released.  He also talks about the original inspiration for the timeless music of "The Wall."

Phil Collins is one of three artists who have sold over 100 million albums as a member of a band (Genesis) and over another 100 million albums as a solo album.  The other two artists are Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson.  This year, Phil Collins will re-release all of his solo albums, 2 at a time. The first ones are his smash debut "Face Value" and his critically acclaimed "Both Sides," Phil's favorite of all his solo albums.  The show features music from these, including bonus songs newly included.

Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," the album Rolling Stone magazine calls, "The greatest album ever made by the greatest rock and roll band of all time." It features interviews from John, Paul, George, Ringo, George & Giles Martin (who did the long-clamored for stereo remixes), Roger Waters, Phil Collins and Steven Van Zandt. There are 3 segments. Steve Winwood was called "one of the greatest singers of all time" by Rolling Stone Magazine. He has just released a 2-cd album, "The Greatest Hits - Live" featuring fresh takes on his most beloved songs. This show features Steve giving insights and stories about the songs and his 54-year (and counting) career.  He will be on tour in the United States through September 2017.

The Doors sold 7,750,00 singles between 1967 and 1971.  The Singles collects all 20 of them and their b-sides plus four mono radio versions.  This hour-long show features alll four members of the Doors talking about their music and what was happening in those tumultuous years.
