WTF Episode 104 with Louis CK

From WTF with Marc Maron | Part of the WTF with Marc Maron series | 59:00

Marc Maron and Louis CK swear, a lot, oh and talk about life.

Louis_ck_small A conversation with comic, director and writer Louis CK. After months of false starts, Marc finally tracks down his old friend Louis. Louis is at the top of his game today, but he and Marc recall the days when they were both struggling young comics in Boston, when Louis was getting rejected by SNL, and when his movie was being taken away from him by a Hollywood studio.

The Sound of a Working Textile Mill

From Colin Kelley | 11:59

I find the repetitive, rhythmic sound of the machine soothing. Put on your headphones and zone out while you work.

Batesmillcotton_small Recorded at Maine Heritage Weavers in Lewiston, Maine. Great industrial sound for any creative use. Use in full as a bed or for ambient sound.

Michael Jackson on Godliness

From Blank on Blank | Part of the Blank on Blank series | 07:28

Crazy how young Michael sounds in this interview. Bizarre that Janet has to relay the questions to him.

Michael_jackson_square_small "My singing… I’ll just say it simple as possible: it’s just godly." - Michael Jackson at 21. We uncovered a rare interview MJ gave in 1980 before he became a global star with the release of Thriller. It's something to hear his voice. And he had an interesting requirement for the interview: the interviewer, John Pidgeon, had to first ask his questions to Michael’s sister, 13-year old Janet Jackson who was seated next to Michael. Then she would relay the question to her brother before he would answer. Here's the tape.
