Bill Fischer, The Dance Caller

Bill Fischer grew up in Connecticut, went to Columbia medical school, and then moved back to Bethany, Connecticut in the seventies to practice general internal medicine. Since the early eighties, however, Bill's also been making a living as a professional contra dance caller. Here's a profile of Bill, with a special focus on BMAD, the widely-known folk music party he throws at his house in Bethany, CT every month.
