Seanflag_small An Eighty-three year-old World War II veteran, two Vietnam War veterans, and a Gulf War veteran tell us about the gut-wrenching experience of war. They tell us why they went to war, what they experienced, and how war changed them forever. Some joined the army either because they believed in fighting against evils in other parts of world or because another saw it as an opportunity to go to college. The World War II veteran shares his experience as a prison guard for German soldiers, a Vietnam War veteran tells us about his murders, and the Gulf War veteran confesses his guilty feelings due to the death of a child. After war, one Vietnam War veteran has gone through 80 surgeries and he is in a wheelchair. Anther Vietnam War veteran thinks he might have lost his child due to his possible exposure to Agent Orange. The Gulf War veteran suffers Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. They also share their views on the war in Iraq and solutions for peace.
