His parodies helped pave the way for a new way to look at Jewish culture, and all ethnic cultures in America. Hail To Thee, Allan Sherman combines many of Sherman's best songs with memories from his son, Robert; as well as a cast of current satirists and music historians. Many of Sherman's songs talk about the times in which they were written, but most are true timless masterpieces of wit.
