Featured are Max Bruch's "Scottish Fantasy," "Scottish Dances" by Ronald Binge, "Four Scottish Dances" by Malcolm Arnold, and Leroy Anderson's "Blue Bells of Scotland" from his "Scottish Suite." The program also includes brief clips from Mendelssohn's "Scottish Symphony," Dvorak's "Scottish Dances," Ted Health's big band version of "Night Train to Scotland" and Frederic Lamond's "From the Scottish Highlands."
