Series: The Emotion Roadmap: Take the Wheel & Control How You Feel

This election felt divisive and strident and the feelings today are those of the victors and the losers, joyous and excitement for those that won, and sadness and anger for those that lost. This radio show is about healing, about noting how everyone wins in a democracy simply because we have the freedom and right to choose who leads us. Read the full description.

Wolfe_ei_picture_for_web_small In the past two elections, in 2008 and 2010, we seemed to have increased the polarization of the two main parties. If hope and change are to resonate for all Americans, if we are truly to act, and more importantly live, as one nation, there needs to be an effort at healing infused with cooperation. Should you choose to listen you will hear some callers share their ideas, along with my own thoughts and feelings about how we can come together. All of the commentary is augmented with songs from Elvis Presley, Neil Young and Bob Dylan. While our challenges are great, our history, our diversity, our innovation, and our willingness to pull together to face enormous emotional challenges suggest we are more than capable of rising up and meeting these challenges. The Emotion Roadmap is a process for guiding people to a vision of a better future, of feelings that are more ideal than what currently exist, and in this interview I discuss how to help all Americans to feel like winners. Enjoy!
