My name is E
And then a font
Yes, I am he.

This is a riddle about an elephant .  L-E-font.  It's an entirely auditory riddle.   There are no metaphors to decipher, no double meanings to trip you up.   What you hear is what you get.   Several of you came up with splendid alternatives.   One pair of players thought the answer might be elite -- pronounced L-Eat.   Remember the old time typewriters?   They had two font sizes:  elite and pica.  Excellent answer!   Someone else thought of el:  Spanish for he.   Such creative, diverse ideas!

NEW RIDDLE:
I stand against the darkness
I hang on by a thread
I sit high on a pearly throne
That fails me in the end.
(answer:  see 8/25/12 piece)
