? Text segment1: Welcome to “Love, the French Way”. In each episode we bring you a beautiful French Language love song. My name is Charles Spira. Elise Pottier left school at 16 to train for the theatre. She was quite successful and performed on stages all over France, including Paris. Secretly, she was also writing songs, playing guitar and piano. When she met a jazz artist called Manou in her home town of Poitiers, the two clicked musically. Through his connections follows an audition with studio executives. She adopts the stage name Berry and her first album, “Mademoiselle”, is published in 2008.
