FIRST HALF: Writer, producer, publicist and storyteller Kambri Crews once lived with her deaf parents in a tin shed in Montgomery, Texas. She now runs her own PR and production company in New York City, books comedy for the 92YTribeca, and is the author of the critically acclaimed memoir Burn Down the Ground. A renowned storyteller and public speaker, Kambri has performed on The Moth’s Mainstage, The 92Y, SXSW Comedy, Risk!, UCB Theatre, Gotham Comedy Club and given speeches at SXSW, DeafHope, and many other schools, colleges, venues and events.
SECOND HALF: A rebroadcast of our interview with Lauren Groff, originally aired in June of 2012. Groff is author of The Monsters of Templeton (a New York Times Editors’ Choice selection, and bestseller) and more recently, Arcadia.

Timing and Cues
Show begins with the new episode (SEGA) which lasts 29:00. Then a 30 second forward promo (SEGB), and a 30 second local funder break (SEGC) in the form of an instrumental music bed.
Second half (SEGD) is a rebroadcast of the episode (Lauren Groff) from eights weeks' previously. Stations may elect to air only the new episode (SEGA) as a "half-hour" version.

Fascinating & so informative
I love the interaction between Tish and Kambri in this interview. Kambri's story is spellbinding by itself, but Tish made it feel very personal to me as the listener by her genuine concern and caring of Kambri. Thank you both for a very moving experience.
