SURVIVAL OF THE FAIREST part 1

Although we humans fancy ourselves to be special, or even “civilized”, is it possible that our financial instincts still resemble those of the most savage of beasts on the hunt? Make no mistake: the free market, like the Amazonian jungle or the African plains, is a place where - at it’s worst- ruthless, merciless, and selfish behavior is often rewarded, and a “kill or be killed” attitude is at least necessary, or maybe even instinctive.

SURVIVAL OF THE FAIREST part 2

Can we abandon a system based on “survival of the fittest” and evolve into a world based of “survival of the fairest”? If we can’t, our guest today says we may have no other choice but to truly embrace our animal side and our “Darwin economy” in order to ensure the survival of a species which is slowly becoming extinct in our nation, the middle class. Join as we speak with best selling author and New York Times economics columnist Robert frank.
