Conversation with Bloomington resident and marvelous vocalist-Amanda Biggs and her partner Kim Deckard about marriage, their own ceremony and what it all means. Amanda sings “Sweet Forgiveness,” Angel from Montgomery,” Vodoo Woman,” “Something to Talk About,” “Midnight in Harlem,” and “Crossroads”  accompanied by Sadie and Sam of the SadSam Blues Jam who will play a gig at the Indianapolis State Fair Friday 3 August.  An edition of QueerHerstory with Helen Harrell highlighting black activist, poet, author, feminist and lesbian Audre Lorde. Vendor Chair of OutFest Monique, and President of OutFest Ashley Smith call in with information about  this year’s event coming up on 18 August, 4 pm to midnight in Lafayette.
