On The evening of June 9th, the Winona community gathered at the Historic Huff Lamberton House for one of the most anticipated events of the summer. Chocolate, Shakespeare and Champagne happens every year as a prelude to the Great River Shakespeare Festival. It's a chance for Winona to see a preview of the current seasons play selections, hob nob with other members of the community and meet members of the cast, as well as nosh on incredible chocolate confections and indulge in champagne in a gorgeous setting. The event also serves as a fundraiser for the Winona History Center. Tonight on The Live Feed, we present audio snippets from members in attendance of the event talking about what they hope to see, followed by quick selections from the evenings performances, and lastly we feature the expectations for the season from cast and audience members alike.
