Moving_bodies_artwork_small When the Space Shuttle Challenger disintegrated over the Atlantic on January 28, 1986, America's most pressing and painful questions were initially met with speculation and official silence. In the weeks that followed, a Presidential Commission began investigating what it would call “an accident rooted in history.” But one member of the Commission in particular -- the great physicist Richard Feynman -- provided the key testimony that would bring closure to the investigation.

Our story this week is about the making of a man whose unorthodox thinking was born of equal parts genius, curiosity, and humanism, in Moving Bodies by Arthur Giron.
