Dr. Kiran Martin lives in Delhi, India, and began the ministry of ‘ASHA’ - which means ‘hope’ in the Hindi language - more than 21 years ago, in the slums of Delhi.

Her work has brought her into contact with the Indian Government, major banks and with criminal slumlords - straight out of ‘Slumdog Millionaire!’ I interviewed her when she visited Holywood, Co. Down, a few months ago.
