It takes 600 people to put on "Wonderland," the Christmas extravaganza held at New Life Church in Colorado Springs. The production includes a full orchestra, rock band, river dancers, swing dancers, hip hop dancers and a floating, remote-controlled manger designed by an engineer from defense contractor Lockheed Martin.
Producer Jeff Briggs interviews the show's artistic director and weaves audio from rehersals into this sound-rich feature. The director's excitement is palpable, and we learn why as well as how the church chooses to celebrate Christmas with a production shamelessly derivitive of Broadway and Las Vegas shows.
