Praying for Peace on earth is pretty much the norm during the holiday season. Prayers for Peace are sent out so routinely that you could even consider it clich?. Of course, its better than praying for War on Earth, but I've always heard that that you should watch what you pray
for because you just might get it.

A couple of years ago I ruminated about what might happen if we did have peace on earth. It's really an audacious idea because our society, our culture for that matter, is so geared for war that its impossible to believe that one day we may actually see every warrior on this planet beating his sword into a plowshare.
