Badge-wo-tagline_small It's not surprising that the role of women in the political sphere has continued to grow ever since the 19th amendment was ratified in 1920, but with the nomination of Democrat Vi Simpson and Republican Sue Ellspermann as Lieutenant Governor on this year's election ticket, Voices in the Street decided to hit the streets and ask local residents their opinion on the role of women in politics and what the future might hold in that area.

It's not surprising that the role of women in the political sphere has continued to grow ever since the 19th amendment was ratified in 1920, but with the nomination of Democrat Vi Simpson and Republican Sue Ellspermann as Lieutenant Governor on this year's election ticket, Voices in the Street decided to hit the streets and ask local residents their opinion on the role of women in politics and what the future might hold in that area.
