NBC may have Leslie Knope, but Oxford’s got Gail Brahier. As Director of Oxford’s Parks and Recreation, Brahier shows us a real life Leslie Knope. Brahier’s initial interest in Oxford was the creative side of Parks and Recreation.
BRAHIER:“That’s actually what brought me here was developing this community park and here’s a picture of the park, it was a cornfield. And I mean it was so much fun designing it and that’s really what brought me here was designing and developing the community park. Yeah it really is and it really is fun.”
Brahier has now been in Oxford for 12 years.
Although she’s been in Parks and Recreation for many years, Brahier’s interest in Parks and Recreation started at a young age.
