JIM LYNCH - Author of three novels his latest, Truth Like the Sun is set in Seattle in 1962 when The World Fair put the city on the map.  It goes between that era and the latter of the Dotcom bust in 2000.  Jim has won awards for his novels and is currently on a national tour with this book.  His books are connected with the Pacific Northwest where he resides.

WENDY McCLURE -Her essays have appeared in the The New York Times Magazine and The Chicago Sun-Times.  She has written two books about her obsession with Laura Wilder from Little House on the Prairie.  She talks about her latest book,The Wilder Life: My Adventures in the Lost World of Little House on the Prairie.  She has edited countless childrens books and is a columnist for BUST magazine.

BLACK PRAIRIE - A beautiful new band emerging from Portland, OR.  All five musicians are well seasoned in their craft considering three-fifths of the band are from the Decemberists.  The music is an enchanting mix of Americana, including sounds of gypsy-folk, bluegrass and acoustic instrumentals.  They focus on instrumentals but have a few songs with their violinist at the microphone that are captivating.
