BLACK PRAIRIE - A beautiful new band emerging from Portland, OR.  All five musicians are well seasoned in their craft considering three-fifths of the band are from the Decemberists.  The music is an enchanting mix of Americana, including sounds of gypsy-folk, bluegrass and acoustic instrumentals.  They focus on instrumentals but have a few songs with their violinist at the microphone that are captivating.
