Spring for Music showcases some of North America’s most exciting orchestras at Carnegie Hall. In Program 6, the Nashville Symphony closes the series with Charles Ives’ Universe Symphony, Terry Riley’s The Palmian Chord Ryddle for Electric Violin and Orchestra, and Percy Grainger’s The Warriors. Ives’ Universe Symphony was left unfinished at his death and will receive its New York premiere in this version, realized and completed by Larry Austin. Music director Giancarlo Guerrero conducts, with electric violin soloist Tracy Silverman. Available May 13, 2012
