- From
- Jeff Wax
Karen Morgan grew up in Athens, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia. In 1995, Karen met her future husband on a blind date and moved to Maine. After years as a successful trial lawyer, Karen became a full-time comedian in 2005 after being chosen as a finalist on Nick at Nite’s first Search for the Funniest Mom in America . She has worked nonstop ever since in theatres and clubs around the country. Karen can be heard on Sirius XM Radio’s Blue Collar Comedy, Raw Dog and Laugh Break as well as every week on the Coast Morning Show where she brings laughter to morning commuters and radio listeners.
Karen lives in Cumberland, Maine with her husband, three kids, two neurotic birds and a big dumb dog. Still licensed to practice law in both Maine and Georgia, she has been called the “Funniest Lawyer on Both Sides of Mason-Dixon Line.” However, she plans to stick with comedy until someone in her family gets arrested – again.
