For two weeks each August, the Central Vermont Chamber Music Festival makes the Green Mountains ring with the sound of music. The festival is noted for its adventurous programming, finding just the right balance between true chamber music favorites and delightful new surprises. This hour we'll talk with the Festival's Artistic Director (and cellist!) Peter Sanders, and find out what inspires him to continue leading the Festival after two decades.
