Wendell Potter, author of Deadly Spin and former senior Vice President of Cigna health insurance company tells us about the cynical practices of deceptive information generated by insurance companies that are literally killing people every day. Potter left a six-figure salary after two decades as an insurance executive when he could not live with such practices and their consequences. He tells us the story of one young teenager in need of a liver transplant and how the insurance company denied and delayed coverage which led to her death. (A match had been found, but was given to another patient after Cigna's denial. By the time public pressure led to Cigna's approval of the transplant, it was too late.)
