At the heart of all things, lies the soul of creation,
in the beauty of that chaos and contradiction is born the cell of life.
Into that electric cell is sparked the desire
to love the creative inheritance of existence.
To love and be loved, to be alone as we are alone,
to be part of the chaos, the flutter of a birds heart,
the multitude of the mass,
the silence of the innermost, outermost aspect of this chemical bonding,
this beauteous bonding of universal fragmentation.
Shall we wonder at the day,
and dance sweetly in bemused exaltation,
each breath a lifting from the earth
to a deep secure rooting
....................and.......................
while in that rooting flower and ripen
to fall off the tree and seed in rich ancient earth.
