We bring you artists who make headlines today and others who have woven themselves into the French psyche over the years. You heard an excerpt from the song “Zambeu”. The artist is Joko. Pascal Obispo is a French singer/songwriter who first wanted to become a professional basketball player. But when in 1978 he moved with his mother to the French city of Rennes, a town well-known for its thriving music scene at that time, he developed an interest in music.
