JAD: Okay. What’s going through your mind right now? Seriously, what? I’m not trying to be mean, but this pledge drive? Not the most riveting radio I’ve ever heard.

ROBERT: ...special in just a few moments...

JAD: But you, you are listening to it right now. So, what are you thinking? Are you like: “Yeah, I’m gonna do that, I just need to finish cleaning this grit out of my finger nail…” Or, is it like: “Right, right, I do love the station. I leave it on all the time because it makes me feel connected and informed, but I’ve got time. I’ll call in probably a little later, maybe tomorrow.”

ROBERT: … banana motifs. And there’s going to be yellow bananas, green bananas …
