The Icebox Radio Theater has been creating great stories about life in the Far-North since 2004. Award-winning, mind bending, spine chilling, laugh-a-minute radio is their forte, all told in the classic 'Theater of Imagination' style. Each episode features at least two pieces so busy listeners are never too late for a great story on the IBRT.

The premiere of the new mystery series from the Icebox Radio Theater.  When a woman loses her job, her marriage, and everything but her daughter and the clothes on her back, there's nothing to do but head home to mother.  Except mother is an aging hippie with a nose for trouble an infuriatingly cheery outlook.

In this 'origin story' of sorts, we meet Mel, a recently unemployed single mom who retreats to her mother's house only to discover her mother (who goes by Jasmine this week) has bought a newspaper and intends to clean up the town.  And just as Mel has calmed Jasmine down by convincing her there really isn't that much to clean up in their tiny burg, a threatening note crashes through the front window, warning the neophyte journalists to back a story they didn't even know they were on! The 'sisters' are officially on the hunt in this tribute to 70's TV cop shows.
