A dragon fly
Except my wings
Are found atop my head.
This is a riddle about a helicopter. The connection between a dragon fly and a helicopter is their basic shape -- although of course a helicopter is considerably larger than a dragon fly. Perhaps a clue about spinning wings would have been helpful, but it wouldn't have left you with much of a challenge. I think of helicopters in connection with rescue work, and likewise dragon flies. I'm happy to be rescued from the mosquitoes, wasps and ants that dragon flies feast on.
