December 22, 2011: Sarah Jefferis has worked as an educator at Cornell University, Ithaca College, SUNY Binghamton and Wells College. Her first collection of poetry Forgetting the Salt was published in 2008 by Foothills Press. Many of her poems have appeared in literary journals and magazines around he country, including The Healing Muse, The Patterson Review, Comstock Review, The Mississippi Review and Icon. Her essay The Driving Lesson appeared in The American Literary Review in the fall of 2011. She is currently working on a novel and a second collection of poetry, entitled The Terrible Blood of Possibility.
