Tough_guy_photoprx_small How many "tough guys" do you know in your life?  Do you see them at the gym?  On the beach?  Do you remember being bullied by them in school?  This essay is a sonic reflection, an audio musing from a man who used to think of himself as a "tough guy."  As he reflects on  his life, the narrator realizes that "being tough" is really about changing with whatever life gives him and striving to see others' points of view.  As a new father, he hopes to pass this knowledge on to his greatest joy, his son.  Infused with humor and thoughtful commentary, this piece exposes the soft man hiding underneath the "tough guy" persona.
