April 24, 1964 started off as just another day on the job for Socorro County Sheriff Lonnie Zamora. Spring was in the air as a motorist sped past him. Leaping into action, Officer Zamora began pursuit of the speeding car when he suddenly heard a loud explosion. Thinking that perhaps a dynamite shack located nearby had exploded, he broke off his chase and drove his police car towards the direction of the noise. What he witnessed next was something he would never forget: a saucer-like vehicle with two landing legs sticking out from the bottom of the craft, and even more astonishing to Zamora, two beings dressed in what looked like white overalls slowly moving around the ship.

Sheriff Zamora reported his experience to his superiors and it was never discredited. On the contrary, he was considered a reliable witness by both the United States Air Force and the Central Intelligence Agency. T...
