Going Deep #3. Read the full description.

Itsabeautifulday_small This week Stuck in the Psychedelic Era goes deep again, with a lot of album tracks and forgotten singles. In fact, fewer than half a dozen tunes on this week's show would qualify as familiar even to a regular listener of the show. Even the songs from core artists such as Jefferson Airplane and the Electric Prunes are tracks that have never been played on Stuck in the Psychedelic Era before. In the second segment we have a set of tracks from the Rolling Stones (again, none of which have been played on Stuck in the Psychedelic Era). Our third segment does return to a bit more familiar territory, as almost the entire segment in a progression through the years 1965-69, but even some of those tunes are making their first appearance here as well. The capstone of this week's show is an entire album side (by request) of San Francisco's It's A Beautiful Day, heard in the final half hour (which is entirely made up of recordings from 1968).
