Formerly industrial Kendall Square, with tech and drug companies generating jobs, new restaurants and upscale apartments. But not everyone in town is benefiting. On Tuesday, hundreds of people lined up outside the East End House community center to pick up a gift card for a turkey and a grocery bag of basket of fixings. Still, many said that had much to be thankful for.
