Hope_small One of the Dalai Lama's favorite saying is 'You should hope for the best, and prepare for the worst.' But as many know 'hope' can be a tricky thing.

Joan Chittister, Benedictine nun and author of more than 40 books, weighs in on what hope means in tough times: she says "Hope is marble...not marshmallow", Neil Pasricha, blogger about all things awesome, gives his take on the subject, and writer Teri Degler share's her story about finding hope when she least expected it.  As well, some words of wisdom from English novelist Terry Pratchett.
