Tom Devine, legal director of the Government Accountability Project (GAP) and co-author of The Corporate Whistleblowers Survival Guide, shares with us why whistleblowers are crucial to the health and well being of our society. Whistleblowers have literally prevented nuclear meltdowns and government whistleblowers have saved the lives of our troops abroad. Whistleblowers can save lives, help preserve the environment and prevent fraud. Although whistleblowers can do so much good, often they are subjected to extreme hardship as the reward for their efforts. Read the full description.
