*** SOUTHERN COLORADO WEATHER FORECASTING ***

ERIC WHITNEY: Winter doesn’t officially begin until December twenty-first. But much of Colorado has already been snowed on. When blizzards hit, or summer thunderstorms, people turn to radio, TV, and the internet to get weather information. Almost all of that information for Southern Colorado originates at the National Weather Service’s field office in Pueblo. Stephen Raher recently visited the office, and has this report.

STEPHEN RAHER: It’s a familiar sound if you’re an avid radio listener.
