Harmonica player Buford was in and out of the Muddy Waters band from the 1950s through the 80s. Smith, who played drums with Muddy, played harmonica, when he led his own bands. We'll hear them as band leaders in their own right, and as members of the Muddy waters Blues Band, including a hard-to-find recording from the Ann Arbor Blues & Jazz Festival in 1972 (not issued on CD).
