The Kansas City Jazz Orchestra serves up an hour of exciting big band jazz arrangements of holiday favorites, in this concert at historic Liberty Hall in Lawrence, KS. The show includes "Winter Wonderland", "Jingle Bells" and "The Christmas Song", plus tunes from "A Kenton Christmas". Add guest vocalists David Basse, Sherry Jones and Gabe Harris, and you can't find a more festive performance of holiday music.
The Kansas City Jazz Orchestra, made up of outstanding musicians from a city known for its jazz tradition, performs concerts throughout the year, plus hosts a summer jazz camp, master classes and scholars program. The band's annual holiday concert is one of the most anticipated of the season!
