Review of The Raven

This is a crisp clean modern reading on Poe's classic THE RAVEN. I enjoyed the readers voice and the fine use of music underscoring. Being a relatively short piece (under 10 minutes), it easily managed to hold my attention.

Review of The Raven

This is a very well done reading of "The Raven" with interesting and well-executed audio effects. It contains no intro or outro - just the poem. ti will make a very nice drop-in within a Halloween Night (mostly music) program I'm creating for our station. Kudos!

Review of The Raven

A excellent audio interpretation of a classic text with a hip score and narration. I am a sucker for poetry and Halloween is my favorite season. This piece brings a modern sensibility to the Raven, sophisticated music and vocal performance make this an excellent way to note the holiday. At 9 minutes the piece has an engaging speed and immediacy, the proper scary vibe and the musical score is worth the time alone. My background is in radio drama and this has the kind of hook that we always look for to get the listener in and hold their attention. If you have a slot for some drama at Halloween, take a listen here.
