Part One TROOP OF INDIVIDUALS We're closing in on the end of 2011. That means different things to different people; the end of a mercurial year for the fiscal genies of Wall Street, the end of the year that marked the 10th anniversary of 9/11, and for the organization that founded this radio program, the end of Maryknoll's Centennial year. And while all of the organization's members share a singular attraction to international human rights work, as individuals, Maryknollers are as diverse as their unique fingerprints. Today we bring 4 such individuals; Maryknoll priests Frank Higdon, Bob Jalbert, John Barth and Gerry Kelly.
Part Two: TROOP OF INDIVIDUALS Part of Maryknoll's mission statement speaks of being "touched by the triumph of the human spirit" and that is undoubtedly the core attraction for it's members. Frank Higdon has worked in Bolivia and Brazil, Bob Jalbert has worked in Tanzania and Kenya, John Barth has worked in Cambodia and is now headed for Sudan and Gerry Kelly served in Chile and throughout Latin America.
