Vincent: The bar is Jameson's, in Rockaway Beach, it’s crowded for a Monday night football game between the Jets and the Pats. The bar is loud with cheering and booing depending on which team each person bet. One in particular is sitting in his usual stool in the corner of the bar next to the front windows.

His name is Mikey but everyone calls him Mush, like the character from "The Bronx Tale" who whatever he touches turns into shit. He moved to Rockaway in the 80's from Ireland and still carries a thick brogue, which only gets stronger when he drinks, which is every day and every night. He is hard to understand at first, but he never seems to have trouble calling his bookie to put in a bet.
