Step onto Swan's Island in the 1960's and imagine what it was like when the ferry brought cars to the island for the first time. What if you were a handsome young teenager showing off your ’57 Ford? You’d be itching to drive it fast on this little island. Every town has its troublemaker. But Normie Burns is not a troublemaker. Normie wouldn’t hurt a fly. But he does like to stir things up once in a while.
Norman K. Burns (b. 1946) was interviewed by Meghan Vigeant on March 3, 2010.
