People observe all sorts of small rituals, sometimes on a daily basis. But what separates these activities from daily routines, like brushing your teeth or walking the dog? I attempted to find an answer to that question. And I enlisted the help a few people who agreed to examine their daily rituals.
Peter: My name’s Peter, peter Rapley. I’m English in case you haven’t figured that out.
Peter is an engineer and he moved to the US about 11 years ago. He’s created his own personal ritual around breakfast cereal.
Peter: I used to eat the same thing every day. I’m a big fan of Wheat-a-Bix so I used to have my Wheat-a-bix every day and then one day I thought, I fancy a change, I’ll have some corn flakes, but I wasn’t sure I could get through a whole box of corn flakes you know without going back to the Wheat-a-bix.
