A lesson in a beach tradition: building an elaborate sand castle.

Today, we hit the beach with Tom Tailer, who an engineer at the University of Vermont. Each summer, Tom will take students to the beach to build sand arches as part of the curriculum in the Governor'sd Institute for Engineering. We joined Tom at North Beach in Burlington, Vermont, on the shore of Lake Champlain to learn some of the finer parts of building a sand castle.
