This is the second hour of the story of singer and songwriter Angela Bofill, in her own words. This segment  includes the music of Angela Bofill, Dave Valentin, Noel Pointer and Norman Conners.

This show is one hour in length and is one third of a three part series. Any of the three programs can be played without the other two. This program is divided into three sets. The first set is the short one which leaves room for the news. Sets two and three are standalone leaving room for announcements.

Highlights of the interview

Segment One: Angela Bofill talks about GRP Records, her meeting Clive Davis of Arista Records, producer Narada Michael Walden, and her sister Sandra who also was a singer.  

Segment Two:  She discusses producer George Duke, producer Norman Conners went to the High School of Music and Art as well, Norman Conners produced an LP for her and she recorded a song on his LP, Luther Vandross & Ashford & Simpson went to the High School of Music and Art & Noel Pointer went to the Manhattan School of Music.

Segment Three:  She discussed Dave Valentin (they played on each others albums), she mentions that Noel Pointer introduced Dave Valentin to GRP Records, Angela Bofill appeared in several gospel stage plays, one was titled “GOD Don’t Like Ugly”.
